56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot and 13% Petite Verdot

"This blends a majority Cabernet Sauvignon with smaller amounts of Merlot and Petit Verdot, coaxing soft, rounded texture and substantial flavors of red berry and vanilla. With a density on the palate, it carries with it a streak of smoked meat." (WE)

"Based on Cabernet from the Terra a Lago vineyard in the Mayacamas foothills and Merlot from the Geyserville bench, this is a chewy yet sophisticated red, carrying a black earthen flavor in its tannins, even as they're smoothed by oak. It feels properly ripe, its sails full of red fruit, hinting at higher-toned floral aromas and a woodsy savor that speaks to hillside fruit." -Luke Skyora (Wine & Spirits)

Winery Notes:
Back in 1985, around a friendly game of Liar’s Dice, Tim Murphy, Dale Goode and Dave Ready decided to make their love of fine wines official. Over 30 vintages later, we’re putting that same passion our founders had into making our wines. We’re proud of our roots in the Sonoma County agricultural community and we know our passion for wine will come through in every Murphy-Goode wine you enjoy. Thoughts from the Winemaker -DAVID READY, JR.

“The 2013 All In Claret is a complex blend from an amazing vintage. The 2013 vintage brought about concentrated plush tannins with aromas and flavors of blackberry and cherry paired with anise and a bit of thyme. The barrel aging softened the tannins and created a richer texture while adding notes of a sweet oak toast and nice hints of vanilla. The wine can be enjoyed now, but will age gracefully over the next 8-10 years.”

Our Favorite Food Combos:
This is a great wine to pair with a beautifully seared Filet Mignon. This tender cut will balance the wines soft tannins and wonderful evening.
