"Pale salmon-pink, the 2011 L'Ermitage Brut Rosé opens with notes of toast, cantaloupe, red berries and citrus peel with accents of mushroom and a touch of iodine. The palate is medium-bodied with elegant, toasty fruits, finely beaded mousse and a long finish that’s juicy enough to call you in for another sip. This was disgorged in March of 2017 and made with about eight grams per liter dosage." (WA)

"Though not without a well-defined fruity presence, this is a Rosé that focuses first and last on the autolyzed complexities of beautifully managed champenization and is a wine that conveys great depth and nuance at one and the same time. It is quite firm in balance and more tightly structured than the majority of its pink mates, but that is not to say that it is anything other than striking right now.
