"A rich, solid red, with straight-ahead cherry and plum flavors. The tannins are integrated and dense on the finish. Drink now through 2015. 21,000 cases made." (WS)

"The 2010 Rosso di Montepulciano is striking in this vintage. Juicy dark cherries, flowers, licorice, mint and spices burst from the glass in this expressive Rosso. Best of all, Poliziano's Rosso is a fabulous value. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015. " (WA)

"(80% sangiovese and 20% merlot): Bright, full red. Bitter red cherry, violet and minerals on the nose. Enters bright and smooth but turns a bit pinched in the middle, with black fruit, mineral and spice flavors carrying through to a rather dry and abrupt finish that nonetheless offers good cut and grip. There is plenty of cellaring potential with the wines of Poliziano, but they are all very closed and tight when young. I suggest decanting this two hours ahead or aging it a couple more years in the cellar. " (IWC)
