"Up-front floral and lime notes allow this white to gather steam, with the peach and apple flavors following through and the creamy texture complimenting the bright acidity. Excellent length. Drink now through 2022. 100 cases made." (WS)

"Silky and polished throughout, the 2010 Puligny-Montrachet La Truffiere stands out for its silkiness, inner perfume and persistence. Dried pears and white flowers are some of the notes that linger on the finish. This is the most understated of Bruno Colin’s 2010s. Anticipated maturity: 2013+.

Bruno Colin reported that in 2010 his yields were down 10-15%, but adds some of his oldest plots were hit even harder, and came in 25-30% lower than normal. Overall, this is a solid set of wines, with plenty of vintage and site-specific character. The Bourgogne, St. Aubin Le Charmois and Chassagne villages were bottled before the 2011 harvest, while the rest of the wines were bottled in March 2012." (WA)

"Complex aromas of grapefruit pith, lemon, oatmeal, menthol and musky stone. Rich and densely packed, with razor-sharp definition to its citrus and crushed stone flavors. Almost painful on the back end but very long and pure--and much less dominated by its oak component than it appeared to be from barrel last spring. This, too, calls for patience." (IWC)

" A highly expressive, pure and airy nose features notes of mineral reduction, pear, green apple and acacia blossom. There is a really lovely vibrancy to the racy, intense and equally mineral-driven flavors that possess excellent volume but also excellent cut on the mouth coating, dry, linear and explosive finish. In a word, terrific." - Comments: Sweet spot Outstanding (BH)

Winery Notes:
Having worked for many years with his family at the Domaine Michel Colin-Deleger and Fils, Bruno and his wife Stéphanie produced their first vintage in 2004. Today, the Domaine Bruno Colin consists of approximately 18 Acres located within the communes of Chassagne- Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Santenay and Maranges. In separating himself from the family Domaine, Bruno has realized his dream of trying different winemaking techniques. The Domaine vinifies each vintage rigorously by respecting the terroir of each parcel in order to allow the wine to present itself as perfectly and as naturally as possible. Bruno’s winemaking style is now affirmed – he makes wines of great precision and minerality-a lovely juxtaposition to the sometimes heavy classical wines of Chassagne-Montrachet.
