OFF THE CHARTS DEAL FOR WHITE BORDEAUX!!

YES, THERE IS CHARMING DELICATE DRY WHITE BORDEAUX FOR $8.99 2010 CHATEAU PUY-MARCEAU, ENTRE-DEUX-MERS – Bordeaux

Light, fun and charming is the words that I would use to describe this very pleasant white Bordeaux, from the large right bank Bordeaux area of Entre-Deux-Mers. A svelte, youthfully seductive dry white Bordeaux selling for a modest $8.99 and with beguiling flavors of fresh lemons, peaches, tropical fruit and a nose of honey¬suckle with a touch of bell pepper.

Chateau Puy-Marceau is the second wine of Chateau Landereau, which is a large approximately 155 acre vineyard producing mostly red wine, though they still manage to release around 5,500 cases a year of their white wines. The white grape part of the vineyard is planted in 50% Semillon, 40% Sauvignon-Blanc and 10% Muscadelle de Bordelaise.

The wine is now most enjoyable and should continue so for another 2 to 3 years. An ideal inexpensive dry white to have around the house to add charm to a pleasant lunch or a partner to a nice, dinner of plain grilled or roasted fish, chicken or pork or what-have-you.
