"Another sleeper of the vintage from Bruno Borie, this 2010 is atypically powerful, rich and concentrated, with loads of sweet black currants, mocha and a hint of caramel. Deep, lush, succulent, and fruit-driven, it is a wine to drink in its first 10-12 years of life." (WA)

"(50% cabernet sauvignon, 40% merlot and 10% petit verdot; 3.71 pH; 27% new oak; 14% alcohol) Bright red. Perfumed aromas of red berries and red cherry are lifted by a bright mineral nuance. Then muscular and surprisingly powerful on the palate, with lovely precision to the red berry and red cherry flavors. Bright acids provide excellent clarity and cut. The tough, mounting tannins dust the teeth on the persistent finish. These grapes come from vineyards located in the most westerly sites of Saint-Julien, between Lagrange and Talbot." (IWC)

"Blackberries and dark licorice aromas with a full body with velvety tannins and a chocolate, berry and currant character. Intense. So much here.$$" (JS)
