"A beautiful white, elegant and intense, graceful and firm, showcas- ing floral, grapefruit, apple, peach and mineral flavors on a supple texture. A citrus note lingers on the firm finish. Drink now through 2022." (WS)

"Here too there is generous wood that includes vanilla, toast and oak spice aromas that presently sit atop the strongly reduced nose. As with the Brûlés, this is a big and dramatic wine but in this case the imposing flavors possess outstanding precision and notably more minerality on the focused, serious, firm and hugely long finish. While certainly muscular, this does not lack for a certain refinement that renders this more agreeable than its stable mate, at least at present." (BH)

Winery Notes:
The Chateau Fuissé Vieilles Vignes is the top wine from the domaine. Vines average over 50 years old and are sourced from the three family vineyards of Le Clos, Les Combettes and Les Brulees. Yields are very low from these parcels.

The Pouilly Fuissé Vieilles Vignes is an incredible rich wine and therefore can stand up to 100% new oak aging. The wine is vinified at the new state-of-the-art winery and then aged for a minimum of 12 months in the cellars underneath the chateau.
