"A fresh white, featuring flavors of lime and pastry, with a hint of petrol. This is racy in structure, offering a long aftertaste of citrus and mineral. Drink now through 2020. 850 cases made." (WS)

"Suggesting honeydew and musk melons drizzled with fresh lemon, the 2009 Serriger Schloss Saarstein Riesling Kabinett offers a polished, buoyant palate impression, and finishes with persistent brightness, succulently sweet fruit, and a satisfying kiss of wet stone. It should perform well for at least a decade, and perhaps longer, in which case one could hope for further complexity as its overt sense of sweetness diminishes.

Christian and Andrea Ebert are surely justified in their satisfaction with 2009, although their results vary considerably in instances from wine to wine where the wild cards of botrytis and frost were brought into play." (WA)

"($27) Appealing aromas of ripe pear and almond. Zesty peach fruit perked up by persistent spice. A salty minerality enlivens the finish" (IWC)

93 points, The Fine Wine Review #131/132 ―A fabulous wine with ripe, firm Saar texture to go with mineral peach fruit.
