"Good deep red. Pungent aromas of dark berries, crushed rock and exotic spices. Dense, tactile and sappy, with the energy to leaven its almost liqueur-like texture. As chewy as a solid, yet the extremely long finish displays outstanding peppery lift and perfume. Liger-Belair suggests drinking this one in 2030!" (IWC)

"30% whole clusters. An intensely floral and highly-spiced nose is quite cool and restrained as it leads to powerful concentrated and very serious flavors that possess excellent scale and volume on the gorgeously long, balanced and focused finish. This is an old school style effort though without the rusticity." (BH)

Winery Notes:
Extremely dark color. Milk chocolate all the way from the nose on the start and all the way to the final palate, all in elegance and finesse. Orange and caramel flavors, and tobacco nuances. Pretty big tannins to go with the massive fruit bomb, along with a little bit of leather, too, and burnt orange. The finish is typical Richebourg, with a massive expanse of fruit that explodes like an IED at the end. 19.5/20
