"A lush, front-loaded style, with lots of ginger cream, heather honey and warm shortbread notes that are quite rich and powerful, cutting a broad swath on the finish. A hedonist's sweet wine, with the stuffing to last a while in the cellar. Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Drink now through 2024. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 3,039 cases made." (WS)

"This has a lifted, voluminous nose that is lacking a little complexity. Very primal, developing scents of white flower with aeration. The palate is vibrant and really packs a punch on the entry. overly citrus orange peel notes inflect the honeyed fruit, taut and precise towards the finish. If the aromatics develop in barrel, this will be excellent." (WA)

"(a blend of 88% semillon and 12% sauvignon; 14% alcohol; 137 g/l residual sugar; pH 3.85) Full medium yellow. Deeply pitched aromas of yellow plum and honeyed peach, along with more exotic notes of caramelized banana and vanilla. Starts sweet and fruity, showing moderate depth but a slightly aggressive oaky character to the banana, citrus and pineapple flavors. With its modest mid-palate fat, the oak gives a dry edge to the moderately long finish. This will need at least a few years to fully integrate its oak, one-third of which is new." (IWC)
