"Ripe and full-bodied, with rich apple, pear and melon flavors that are mature and extracted, still a bit raw, ending with spicy, cedary oak. Drink now through 2014. 262 cases made." (WS)

"The 2008 Chardonnay Sonoma (also aged in concrete eggs, then moved to neutral French oak) was bottled with no fining or filtration. This cuvee exhibits more waxy, honeysuckle, orange marmalade, and citrus oil notes in its full-bodied, rich, concentrated personality. It does not possesses as much minerality or precision as the Yuen, but it remains an elegant, Chablis-like white to consume over the next 3-4 years. " (WA)
