"($65) Pure, fine, perfumed aromas of white peach and flowers. Juicy, complex and tight, with lovely mineral lift to the flavors of white peach and flowers. This seems more minerally than the younger 2009 and of at least equal quality. But it will require some patience. Finishes long, fine-grained and subtle." (IWC)

"A restrained and pure nose features notes of pear, white peach, resin and a noble vegetal note that complements well the rich and palate staining big-bodied flavors that brim with old vine extract before terminating in a seductively textured and hugely long finish. There is so much extract present that this has an opulent feel to it though it remains in perfect balance. A very impressive showing." (BH)
