"Lots of pleasure in this dry, classically structured wine. It’s rich and forward in juicy blackberries and cherries, with a milk chocolaty richness but also a dried herb earthiness that grounds it. Good price for a wine of this class." (WE)

Winery Notes:
Located on Napa Valley’s famed Silverado Trail in the Rutherford district, Conn Creek has built its reputation on its blending expertise, sourcing grapes from nearly all of Napa Valley’s diverse sub-appellations to create wines with layers of depth and complexity. Herrick Red celebrates this tradition with an intriguing blend of classic Bordeaux varieties and Syrah to spice things up. The result is a rich, flavorful, and satisfying wine.

A dark ruby wine, with plum, cassis and spiced nutmeg aromas. The aromas are complemented by intense chocolate and black fruit flavors. Powerful with ample extraction, the round entry is lush and rich and finishes with a tremendous impression of length.
