"Lively and delicate, offering cherry, raspberry, floral and spice flavors, with touches of chocolate and mineral. Offers fine balance and harmony, but also well-structured, with a sweet, spicy finish. Best from 2013 through 2025. 3,300 cases made." (WS)

"The 2006 Brunello di Montalcino Tradizione is a touch smoother and juicier than the regular bottling. There is a bit more fruit here to balance the tannins, but this, too, remains a rather straightforward effort. Hints of leather and spices add complexity on the finish. If the tannins were more refined this could merit a higher score. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018. " (WA)

"Good deep red. Smoked meat, bonfire and a whiff of herbs on the rather oaky nose; with air, more black cherry, spices, violet and lavender added interest. Supple, sweet and open-knit in the mouth, with solid dark fruit flavors lifted by the wine's floral quality. Not especially refined, but this midweight wine should give relatively early pleasure. Finishes with distinctly dusty tannins." (IWC)
