"The 2006 Mira is a blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Garnacha Tintorera, and 10% Monastrell aged for 20 months in new French oak. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it displays a reticent nose of toasty oak, blackberry, and black currant. On the palate layers of succulent fruit emerge accented by lots of spice, licorice, and mineral notes. With enough structure to evolve for 2-3 years, it will offer prime drinking from 2012 to 2021.
