Price :

"Another “best ever” performance, the Grand-Puy-Ducasse is made in a charming style for a 2005 Pauillac. This deep ruby-hued, very concentrated, precocious, showy effort displays copious quantities of sweet oak intermixed with black cherries, black currants, velvety tannins, medium body, and loads of fruit. It can be drunk now or cellared for 15-20 years." (WA)

'This is a nice little value Pauillac with cassis, tobacco, cedar, cigar box and gravel scents. The wine is concentrated with ample ripe crunchy cassis and tannin to allow it to improve at least 15 -20 years. It's hard to find many value priced classified growths today. But this is worth the money. It has nice Bordeaux character. 90 points - Tasted Aug 9, 2011" (JL)

Winery Notes:
Perfectly balanced wine, with a lovely acidity that makes the wine fresh and enticing, long length; lovely ripen tannins round and well concentrated; strong notes of fruits on the palate. Powerful wine with finesse and elegance. A Wine perfect for ageing.
