CRU , SINGLE VINEYARD BAROLO WITH 15 YEARS OF BOTTLE AGE, A STEAL!...DRINKS LIKE NOBODY'S BUSINESS!!

"Aromas of licorice, blackberry and espresso bean follow through to a full-bodied palate, with slightly raisiny flavors and big, velvety tannins. Long and caressing. Best after 2012. 250 cases made. -JS" (WS)

Winery Notes:
100% Nebbiolo from 40-year-old vines planted in La Morra to chalky marl and sandstone soil. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel for 15 days, followed by aging in French oak barriques for 24 months. Wine rests in bottle for 1 year prior to release.
