Purple red in color, this Dolcetto has an intense nose with fruity aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and blueberry. It is dry and soft on the palate, rich and pleasant in the mouth, with austere tannins and a clean, pleasant finish. Suitable for every meal, this wonderfully easy drinking wine would pair particularly well with white meats and pasta dishes.
Fermented in steel rotary fermentors, the grapes are macerated on the skins for 5-6 days. The wine spends a brief period of time maturing in used barriques (3 weeks), followed by maturation in stainless steel tanks for 10 months.
