"Distinctive, with a lovely honeydew melon note popping out, offering fleshy grilled peach and dried apricot flavors. Smooth and appealingly juicy on the finish. Drink now. 1,935 cases made. -M.W." (WS)

"The 2014 Sauvignon Blanc is an attractive wine that brings together aromatic nuance with the phenolic, structural elements that are typical of this mountain site. Slightly reductive notes add further nuance on the expressive finish." (VM)

Winery Notes:
The Estate Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of several blocks planted at 900ft elevation. It displays everything one would expect from Sauvignon Blanc grown at altitude in rock-driven soils: exotic fruit character grounded by serious textural and structural components. Aromas of Meyer lemon and Thai basil ood the nose, with background notes of pear and lemon blossom to add intrigue. On the palate, the depth typical of 2014 is on full display, with a broad, rich texture counterbalanced by razor acidity and superb length bolstered by avors of fennel and lemon zest.
