"Light-bodied and lithe, this elegant white features a stony underpinning, along with hints of orange zest and grated ginger accenting the notes of white peach and slivered almond. Drink now through 2018. 23,333 cases made.–AN " (WS)

"Gorgeous freshness and liveliness with lemon, lime and mineral aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, yet bright and long. Screw cap. Wonderful wine for this difficult year. Drink now." (JS)

"This wine is delicately perfumed with scents of pressed white flower, pear, white stone fruit and crushed rock. Crisp acidity carries the yellow apple, citrus zest and pineapple flavors while a light mineral vein backs up the finish. (Jul 2016)" (WE)

"[$20 list] Flavors of Bosc pear and juicy lemon give way to creamy notes of lemon curd and cheese rind that feel rich and warm. The finish is round and ripe, with a pulse of zesty acidity that keeps it fresh and food-friendly. (Aug 2016)" (W&S)

"There is a curious, engaging but subtle salty quality to the Soaves I enjoy the most. Flavours whirl around the mouth. It is here, this saltiness, energising and invigorating. And it's persistent. Evidence that Garganega is an impressive grape. That Soave is truly a noble wine. Drink: 2016-2019. Alcohol 12%. (Jan 2016)" -Emily O'Hare (Decanter)

Winery Notes:
This is the freshest, youngest wine in the Pieropan family range. It is made entirely from fruit grown in their own vineyards situated in the Soave Classico zone and planted only with indigenous grape varieties.

Approx. 85% Garganega, 15% Trebbiano di Soave (the latter is part of the Pieropans’ effort to safeguard ancient native varieties that have lately been neglected by most growers) from southerly exposed hillside vineyards and clayey/tuffaceous, prevalently calcareous soil; brilliant straw yellow, greenish hues; ample, delicate nose of almond and cherry blossoms, elderberries and lilies of the valley; complex and structured on the palate, with good acidity, silky texture, pleasingly bitter finish.
