"Here there is no reductive funk as the fresh and exuberant nose presents notes of red cherry, pomegranate, earth and a hint of game. There is excellent energy and delineation to the middle weight flavors that deliver fine length on the saline-inflected finale that is less rustic than usual. This is really quite good for its level and a wine that would make a fine choice for a higher-end house red. Recommended." (BH)
