"This is the most floral wine in the range with its elegant, pure and intensely spicy nose that displays mostly notes of both red and dark currants. There is outstanding richness and volume to the big-bodied flavors that possess a lush, indeed opulent palate impression before concluding in a lingering if slightly woody finish. The old vines definitely show as there is fine phenolic maturity to the supporting tannins. Note that here too the depth is only average for a fine Ech at present though there is obviously plenty of time that will pass before this will be fully ready for prime time drinking." (BH)

Winery Notes:
Just like the precision and know-how of the best watchmakers, each bouquet from our Grande Complication is expressed with purity and authenticity.

First, the wild berries - intense blackcurrant and lively raspberry- reveal all of the splendour of this selection of grains. Then, the subtleness of the aromas comes out as sweet spicy notes.

Then there’s silence.
Harmony, power, finesse and purity blend in a precious and complex movement. The scale of the site is perfectly calibrated and the grandeur of the Pinot Noir is sublimating. Our Grande Complication requires time to express itself with the emotions more intense as this exceptional quest goes on.
