"Notes of earthy blackcurrant and black cherry fruit along with some new saddle leather and new oak are present in this medium to full-bodied wine made by Denis Barraud. Normally this is one of the sleepers of St.-Emilion, but in 2005 it falls just short of that. It is certainly excellent and can be drunk now or over the next 10-15 years." (WA)
